Amber Ray Anderson was born in southwest Washington & has resided in Seattle, Washington more than half her life. Art & science intersect in Anderson's business Array Art Conservation established in 2009 performing art restoration preservation- for a cumulative career 20 years in the making working as an art conservator. Formal education background for Anderson includes a BFA from Cornish College of the Arts earned in 2002, & Organic Chemistry Certification from North Seattle College earned in 2008.

Amber Anderson's art process begins by shooting photographs recording natural & man made landscapes while traveling. Photographic representations are translated to digital sketches, printed onto wood, & melted into encaustic bee's wax paintings. Conceptually, Anderson's art aims to reflect on micro systems & the inverse relationships to humans on macro scale. Anderson's artwork can be seen regularly at galleries across Washington state.
